Apparel Quality Control Process

Premium Wear Works measures quality at every stage — fabric, wash, print and final inspection — in our own facilities. Shrinkage, color fastness and AQL are tested and tracked, not just promised, before any bulk order ships.

Where We Check Quality

01
Fabric Inspection

Incoming yarn and knitted fabric are checked for weight, width and defects before cutting.

02
Wash & Print Testing

Every wash recipe and print is tested on a sample batch and checked against your shrinkage and color fastness spec before bulk.

03
In-Line Inspection

Cut-and-sew is spot-checked during production, not just at the end.

04
Final AQL Inspection

Finished units are inspected against AQL sampling standards before packing and shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you test for shrinkage and color fastness?

Every style is tested in our dye house and measured against a shrinkage and color fastness spec before bulk production — see current figures above.

Who does the inspection — you or a third party?

Our own QC team inspects in-line and at final stage; third-party inspection can also be arranged on request.

What happens if a batch fails inspection?

Failed units are reworked or replaced before shipping — we don't ship a batch that doesn't meet spec.

Do you provide inspection reports?

Yes, full inspection reports are available on request.

Do you hold any certifications?

Certification details are listed above and can be confirmed with your quote.
